Another week gone by

It's been a loooong time since I watched any soapseries. To be honest, I despise them. But I've caught myself watching ER reruns the past weeks. I tell myself it's more an action series than a soap series. Big difference from The A-Team though ;)

No big news along the way. Work is work, band's in summer recess (BBQ tomorrow :), my parents call me twice a week to check if I'm still alive, and if you ever come by a diner called 'The Filling Station', fill up. I'm still stuffed from yesterday's ... meatfest? I know I should stick to the 'lean and light' dishes, but once in a while you have to be able to break the rules.

Ewww, lotsa blood on ER. I just lost my appetite. Not that I should have any at 1 am. Maybe I outta go to bed at more reasonable times. Now I'm sitting here, downloading the epic miniseries "Kindred: The Embraced." Think Melrose Place meets the vampire world. And no Buffy around :) All TV has to offer at this moment is homeshopping. Whoever would want to buy a Titanium II knife set? Or a nail-design set? Or Tony Little Target Training System? Or an airbed? Yech. I'll go to bed right now, read a chapter of Harry Potter. I'm re-reading the second book, now that I saw the trailer to the upcoming movie. Looks promising :) Though I wish they'd include Peeves the Poltergeist. I wanna see Rik Mayall floating and spooking around.

Furthermore I don't wanna see Scooby, I've accidently seen Richard Gere's 'Unfaithful' (SUCKS !) and next weekend Lilo and Stitch hits our theaters. So many movies, so little spare time. Wednesday I'm gonna have to pay my parents a visit, if only to prove to them I'm more than just that voice on the phone. Next weekend, I'm gonna lock myself up in an apartment with 5 other guys and play PC games over a LAN. I'm on my way to become a hardcore gamer, glued to his monitor :D Luckily my common sense prevents me from doing more than 2 PC weekends a year.

Ouch, that yawn hurt my jaws. I'm off.

Eek! Kindred: The Embraced! A sugar coated version of World of Darkness Vampire.. So much sugar. ;)
But its worth the watch, though its so loose in its adhereance to its basis.. ^.^

Yeah, it IS pretty sugary coated... Kind of dull even, if you're used to the action in Highlander, Buffy, Sliders, you-name-it. It's fun to watch once, but not something I want to keep in my media-library. You would've thought that White Wolf wanted something with a bit more 'pizazz'. Oh well.... you never know what the future might bring :) The World of Darkness seems to dark and gloomy to turn into a series.
