Murphy's Law

The one night my parents forgot to bolt the door, someone broke into their house. That was last night. Missing: all their bank- and credit cards, passports and..... their car, a Volkswagen Passat. The thieves also took my mom's carkeys for her car, but that one is still in front of their house. Looks like the burglars were only interested in the car. Stereo, TV, it's all stil there.

So, normally I would drive home and switch cars so that mom's car doesn't get stolen too, but I can't. I have to be in Amsterdam for work the entire day, until midnight after which I stay in Amsterdam in a hotel.

Thank you, filthy thieves, for stealing my parents' car and their passports, just when they're about to go on holiday next weekend.

eep! sorry. I hope they find the person/people that did it. I'm sure they will though if they're dumb enough to use the credit cards they stole.

Dude, thats horrible. But yes, it is very common for thieves to break in your house just for the car. The documents and the bankpasses are also very easy to get rid of for quite some money.

That is the trouble with having a Volkswagen these days, those cars are very common, therefor wanted on the market. When lucky, they will find it back before it is stripped for parts.

Good luck to them, because this just sucks.

Eeep.. Oh hon, I know just what that's like, quite obviously.. -.- Though, still, that's of little consolation.. I can't imagine that happening, really.. *whimper* Its almost the same in that my parents were going to go on holiday, too..
