Don't ask me why, but I'm slowly trying to start drinking coffee.... When it comes to hot drinks, it's still 80% tea with the occasional hot chocolate (something that also took me 25 years to like), but the past few weeks I've been working up to coffee.

Stages passed:

Stage one: hot chocolate
Stage two: choco-coffee (50/50)
Stage three: Wiener melange (half coffee, quarter milk, quarter hot choc)
Stage four (this week): cappuccino (with cocoa powder on top)

Not sure what my next stage should be. Coffee with milk and sugar? Or should I bravely shock my system by going straight for espresso? The worst part is: this isn't even decent coffee, it all comes straight from one of those big company vendor machines (Douwe Egberts). We *do* have an italian coffee-bar in the main lounge, but that quality shit ain't free. The vendor coffee is ;)

I just drink coffee with milk and two lumps of sugar. :3 I doubt I'll ever switch to black: I like the warm sweetness and I also like flavors. I got organic chocolate powder from the UK for hot coco and it is *delicious* - it's also great for putting in my coffee ;D Too bad the Senseo coffee is always a bit... watery.

Don't go for the espresso unless you like it. Why drink something that doesn't taste good? I used to think coffee had this gross bitter taste, till I found the right sweetness for it. I don't care if others think it's 'kiddie coffee' ;)

Anyway, you and a certain Berlin Starbucks are responsible for my coffee addiction XD

I recently saw a documentary about how hot drinks make people feel mentally better than cold drinks. Whether it's tea, coco or coffee, there's something about holding and drinking a hot drink that makes people feel more comfortable and friendly. I guess it's a primal instinct of sitting around the fire ;)
