Some people don't deserve to be parents

This was supposed to a fun post about our manager being elected "Boss of the Day" on national radio and how we got cake.

But then I found the next snipped on a news site:

Forgotten child dies in car

PARIS - Once again a child died in France because the father forgot to take the little one out of the car. According to French newspaper "Le Parisien", a 38-year-old man from Chalons-sur-Saône left his daughter on the backseat of his car last tuesday and went to work. Only when he wanted to retrieve his other children from daycare at night did he discover that the two-and-a-half year old girl was still in the car. Because the car had stood in the sun all day, the girl was severely dehydrated. She died shortly after.

Last week in Grenoble, a pedestrian found the lifeless body of a boy in a car where the temperature had risen to 40 degrees Celsius (104 F). The father had forgotten his son after having been witness to a traffic accident.

How bloody distracted can you be that you FORGET your own child in the car? Same goes for pets. And a similarly big FUCK YOU goes out to everyone who has EVER left a child or pet in his or her car without shade and water. I lost count of how many articles I've read about people going shopping at the mall while leaving the kid or pet in the car, thinking 'Oh, they'll be fine.'

Seriously. Damn, I'm pissed off now.

The childfree call them "Li'l sizzlers" and there's typically a season for them during summer time in America when there's an unusually high amount of incidents. If someone told me a percentage of li'l sizzlers were intentional I would not be surprised, I can't imagine there's that many people dumb enoug to leave living creatures in a sweltering car.
