Ich bin ein Berliner

Work is hectic, so it'll probably take me a few hours to write this post, with the help of Frank the LJ Bot, typing a few lines at a time. It's now 9:53 am.

I'm really enjoying life at the moment. Things are going well between damanique and me. We're happy when we're together, but we give each other enough space as well. This weekend marks the 3-month anniversary. Wow, how time flies. Next month will be another landmark: our first little holiday together. Discovering Berlin for four days. I found a hotel right next to the entrance to the Tierpark Berlin, the big zoo in East-Berlin. Yes, Berlin has two zoo's (the other being the Zoologischer Garten, the one with icebear Knut).

So, if you've already been there, tips and pointers and nice restaurants and places to visit are welcome, just post them here. We'll probably be exhausted once we get back, but it's a small price to pay. And the hotel has a spa, so we have means to relax ;)

What else? Well, I've said it before: life seems busier than ever. In stead of working 60 hours a week, I now work 40 hours and do social things for 30 hours, or so it seems. I go play squash ball every friday, I have something social almost every weekend, I can visit birthdays, I can go to concerts, it's great to be one of the 9-5 crowd.

Sidetrack: Zoo. I love visiting zoos. Which ones have I been to?
Artis, Amsterdam
Blijdorp, Rotterdam
Safaripark Beekse Bergen, NL
Burgers Zoo, Arnhem
Olmense Zoo, Belgium
Antwerp Zoo,
Frankfurt Zoo,
Dublin Zoo,
London Zoo,
Bronx Zoo, NY
Smithsonian Zoo, Washington DC
Barcelona Zoo, Spain
Loro Parque, Tenerife, Canary Islands

Enough about that. More news and random brainfarts soon.
