We're losing him. He slept reasonably well last night, but the doctors expect him to slip into a coma somewhere this week and that'll be the end of it. I've changed my roster, so that I have tomorrow off. If today's a quiet day at work, I'll try to leave early so that I can see him tonight. If not, I'll be there first thing in the morning.

My grandfather Josef Driessen passed away at 12.15pm this afternoon. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to him. The funeral is saturday morning.
