Rob is standard

And shit hit the fan.....

Speak of the devil, and he appears. I was SO right yesterday, it was almost spooky. I arrive at the restaurant to find out that the place is still pretty messy, two people call in sick, I find less-than-fresh tomatoes in the large fridge, a prankster calls the restaurant 12 times without saying a word, the delivery truck was late, and the list goes on.

But...... I survived! And to top it off, I survived and even kept the restaurant running smoothly. Granted, it wasn't busy today, in fact it was quiet for a Saturday, but nevertheless, I was in charge of a restaurant for an entire day and I did a good job. Hooray for me :)

To celebrate, I went home, treated myself to a Red Bull, played some more Grand Theft Auto 3 (I'm the driver of the local mob-boss right now :) and investigated a new pub for me and my friends to visit now that our old one went belly-up. Now my feet hurt, and my alarmclock will go off in less than five and a half hours. Early shifts aren't so bad. The worst part is getting up that friggin' early. 6 am IS friggin' early if you're used to working nights.

I wanna go to Gen Con UK 2002 but so far I only have one 'maybe' from a friend and a lot of 'no's' from other friends. I don't wanna go all by myself... If anyone feels like joining me, let me know :) 4 days of non-stop gaming. Did I mention I'm into Dungeons and Dragons? No, I'm not a geek, thank you very much ;) And no satanist either :) I simply have a lot of imagination, but last time I check that wasn't such a bad thing.
