Watch this

After a search that took me over a month, I've finally found two beautiful watches. One of them will become a birthdaygift from my parents to me. At first I was looking at the Seiko Kinetic collection, since I like the idea of never having to change batteries, but all of those are way too expensive. So I went to the local jewelry shop and there I discovered the Citizen Eco-Drive series. Also without batteries but using light instead of kinetic energy as its powersource. Daylight/sunlight charges the watch, officelight is enough not to drain it. They're both the same model, but with different colors and one has a metal band while the other has a leather one. Also cool: they automatically keep track of the date and summer/wintertime so I only have to change the time if I'm on holiday in another timezone :)

Woa, pretty AND environmentally friendly :D

One day I will find out why men's watches always look so much more complicated that women's. Obviously men need not only know the hour and minute, but also the day, time in 24-hour notation, a compass, the air humidity, the month of the year and the day of the month... and a stopwatch.

ALL IN ONE.

I'll never get it, but maybe for men watches are just like cars... ;)

Surely you know:
What separates the men from the boys is the size of their toys.

It's in a guy's instinct that they want to have a bigger TV/a better car/more exotic holidays/a fancier businesscard than their neighbour/friend/brother/colleague

Girls/women just laugh at the boys and let them have their fun while they gossip about relatives/celebrities/everyone else.

Gotta love stereotyping ;p
