U liek 2 party??

November 4th is the day when I make the big leap from twenty-something to thirty-something. I feel like doing something MORE than just invite people over at home, but I have no idea what. Garden party is not a good idea at that time, celebrating it somewhere in a pub/cafe would mean that everyone would have to pay for their own drinks or that I run up a big bill paying for everyone.... I'm open to suggestions at this point. What to do for one's 30th birthday?

Decide you'll stay 29 for another eight years, like The Nanny? ;)

Anyway, if a party at home, a garden party or a pub crawl isn't a good idea, maybe you should hire off a party place or a cabin. A cabin somewhere makes sure you don't have to deal with angry neighbors, and it's at least a bit different than 'just at home'.

And anyway, it depends on the crowd you plan to invite, too. ^^

How about organizing a Cthulu LARP? I got a nice scenario.

My 30th birthday landed on my company's Christmas party. So, I went to the party and had free drinks and ended up with a cheese caddy.. It was all good. :)

Most people stay in bed, roll over one more time and weep for their lost youth. But not you! :D

Seeing you'd have to accommodate people of different strokes if you want to have one big party celebrating your big three-o it's hard to come up with suggestions. How about a nice quiet tea party instead? :)
