Still here

I'm so fixated on finding new work that I seem to be developing some kind of God-please-no-unemployment-office-again paranoia. Or maybe it's the other way around. In any case, I'm searching all kinds of job websites for hours and hours, but crap is all I find. My resume is filed at four different temp-office companies.

The bank job didn't happen. Alphen suddenly didn't have a vacancy anymore and Haarlem doesn't want me because I live 25 km away and "they want their advisors to be at the heart of the community." F... that. So what's currently happening? Holland Casino Zandvoort wants me in for an interview next friday. And The College Hotel in Amsterdam is looking for an Food and Beverage trainer. It's a hotel run by hotelschool students. I've always loved teaching, so I think I have a pretty good shot at that as well. My resume has also been sent to a recruitment agency that holds all the jobs at T-Mobile. And furthermore I'm exploring the possibilities of network marketing. I've come across an interesting company who pay me to use their products (dietary supplements) and tell others about them.

And in non-work related news, I took bander along to see The Fun Lovin' Criminals. But they didn't perform their own songs, no, they did a DJ-set! How's that for a change? Lots of hiphop, reggae and even oldfashioned rock and roll. Huey had the best taste in our humble opinion.
