In further news.... My first test as a sales & marketing officer was today, making sales-calls. Basically the script is like this: "Hi, we sent you information, did you get it? Yes? Did you read it? Yes? Do you wanna visit our hotel? Yes? Cool! Thanks!"
OK, so it's a bit more complicated than that, but you get the idea. For a first day I did pretty good, even got compliments from my chef, and that's always a positive thing.
Three weeks from now I'll be on my first sales-visit to companies in the UK. I'm going to have to drive in a car with a steeringwheel on the right side. I'm going to have to drive on the left side of the road. I'm going to have to drive on the M25, the ring around London. Also known as the Highway to Hell. 7 or 8 lanes of pure insanity. I'm already shitting my pants :D
I also found out I don't know my e-penpal at ALL! I scored 30% on a test about her. Sorry Gina! I'll beat myself with a wooden board and a rusty nail for it.
Well, more for me to explore and (most of all) update. Windows is screaming at me that I have to install 6 critical updates. Good to be back *lol*
