Rob's favorite videoclips, part 1

Thanks to YouTube, I'm finding a lot of great videoclips that've been made throughout the years. I'd like to share a few gems with you.

- Teardrop by Massive Attack. I've already loved the song for its dark and broody sound, and the clip matches perfectly. An unborn child sings inside its mother's womb. The child is a very nice piece of animatronics.

- Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai. I've mentioned this one before, so if you haven't seen it yet, watch it! And keep telling yourself "The room is moving, not the floor". This one rocks :)

- Money For Nothing by Dire Straits. This one deserves a mention for some of the very first computer animation used in a videoclip. This one's for the retro programmers and animators.

- Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel. Peter Gabriel isn't afraid to use new techniques or unique touches in his clips. And I just happen to like clay-animation... A classic clip in my eyes. If you like Pete, his Steam videoclip is also worth a mention.

- Where's your head at by Bassment Jaxx. Because it's freaky! And we all love singing monkeys.

- Let Forever Be by the Chemical Brothers Another one in the freaky category. I believe they call this morphing? Very, very nice effects. You gotta see this one to believe it, this requires a LOT of work and choreography.

- Weapon of Choice by Fatboy Slim. Ever wanted to see Christopher Walken dance and fly through the air? Here's your chance.

That's all for today, I'll dig up some more gems if my fans so desire. Or hey, add some of your own favs in the comments.
