Worst case scenario: I can't get those three days off and I'll most likely be visiting my parents when I don't have to work.
Best case scenario: I do manage to get fri-sat-sun off and I'll be driving to Paris, stay in a low-budget hotel and visit my niece who's on her last week of being an Au Pair in Paris. She's been there for almost 9 months now, so she knows all the good spots. I've never actually been to Paris. Went *through* town twice, but that was in a car with no time for stopping. Gods, I hope I can pull this off. Palais de Versailles, Louvre, Montparnasse, Mont-Saint-Michel, Notre Dame, La Tour Eiffel, Arc de Triomphe, paying 10 bucks for a cup of coffee on the Champs Elysees :D And I definately want to visit Les Halles, Europe's biggest fresh food market. If you manage to go there early in the morning, you can see all the fishes, vegetables, cheeses, breads, fruits, meats, spices and unidentifiable items that will end up on someone's plate that same night.
Keep your fingers crossed.
