"So little to do, and so much time!... No wait, turn that 'round." (Willy Wonka - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)

Workworkwork, piles of it, heaps of it.
Our hotel sends out a magazine once every 3 months to all our loyal guests and the companies that book us. I'm talking 16000 magazines here, peeps. Of course, we're unable to keep everything up to date by ourselves, so we get a lot 'returned to sender' with updated addresses, contactpersons etc. Guess who has to feed all that new data into our system?

One day, pigging out Canadian Style. Next day data-entry drone. Highs and lows follow each other rapidly here....

Next day data-entry drone.

Imagine a cupboard as high as yourself and three times as wide. Now imagine it being laden with folders with account info. Now imagine the bank asking you to feed all the info into their system, aside from checking all the information in the process AND sorting everything in alphabetical order (as it certainly AIN'T at the moment). And now imagine finding out there are actually TWO of such cupboards!

How's that for being a data-entry drone? Okay, so it was only a vacation-job. On the other hand it did pay 150 Euros a week. :)
