Superbowl XLIII

I managed to watch the first half, then my eyes couldn't stay open anymore. Even missed out on Bruce Springsteen's halftime show. And completely according to tradition: the best action happens when I'm not looking. Last year: I watched three quarters, score was still 0-0. I go to bed, next morning I see the fourth quarter was like watching fireworks.

For what it's worth: it was fun to learn about the Steel Curtain (Steeler's defense line) and the history of the Terrible Towel. I saw good plays and bad plays and watched the 100 yard touchdown run after the intercept in the endzone. And I wish that the world of soccer ('our' football) would adopt the option for referees to review their calls in the booth ;)

Congrats Steelers! And Cardinals, you guys came damned close.

I find it really hard to concentrate on the game at all. They are constantly starting and stopping. The only interesting parts were when the guys can run more than 2 feet without getting tackled. For that, I like watching Rugby because even if the ball falls, someone can pick it up and continue the play. It's more entertaining I think :) Of course, I don't understand an darn thing about either sport, so I just have to go for the superficial things like movement or the man shorts. XD
