No sleep til Brooklyn!

I'm trying to find more info on the Guinness World Record for the Longest Radio DJ Marathon. Yes, I'm considering an attempt to break it. So far I found some news about the Canadian record of 105 hours but there's also been an attempt for 120 hours, though I don't know if this one's official yet. The Guinness World Record website is not being helpful seeing as they don't list all records. And to make things even more fun, the Longest Radio DJ Marathon is in the top ten of most often attempted records. Might be it's already somewhere at 125 hours. That's over 5 days. I've heard about old rules that you can take a 15 min break every 8 hours, but I've also seen new rules that you can save up 5 mins every hour so you can take a full hour off after 12 hours.

So... I registered at their website and requested the latest rules. I already know I won't be allowed to drink coffee, black tea and energy drinks, just water and healthy stuff. And toiletbreaks are only allowed during official time outs, so no nipping off to the bathroom during a song. Damn, it sounds like hell, but also like lots of fun :D. Nice way to promote Monsterhitmusic AND maybe I can get Stichting Spots or the Cheetah Conservation Fund involved and turn it into a fundraising record attempt....

Whoa... I know for sure I wouldn't make it past one day. I've become quite the sleepyhead lately.

Good luck to you though! :D

One time I stayed up for 3 days.
Then I slept for 3 hours and stayed up for another two.

That said, before you do anything, consult your doctor.
