Started work at 4pm. Finished at 4.30am. Ow. I had a rough evening/night.

BUT... I did my first ever Sabrage. And that kicked a$$!

What sort of blade do you use? How long is it? Is there an edge at all, or is it blunt as it's only meant for whacking glass bottles?

And next time you do it, I request that there be pictures. Or a video.

I had the privilege to use the one and only Laguiole Champagne Saber that we have in the restaurant. It has a sharp edge, but you use the blunt side for a sabrage. Pics and video will be difficult, since I can't carry a camera or phone with cam on me during work.

I'll see what I can do, though :)
