Perhaps it's the time of the year, but a lot of my friends, both on and offline are down, depressed and sad. I've always been the kind of glass-half-full guy, so it hurts me to see everyone so down. Especially when I know that my optimistic comments would only backfire. Guys and gals (you know who you are), even if I can't offer helpful solutions or a quick way out of your misery, I've always been a good listener. Mail me, phone me. If you need someone to listen to you, seek me out.

The weather doesn't do much to lighten the mood either. I don't mind rain, I don't mind cold, but the two put together.... ACK! That, and I've got two busy days ahead of me. Working late tonight, working early tomorrow, then staying up late to watch the Superbowl with a good friend. Then on monday: The Great Carswitching Show. Here's how it works.
- Drive from Noordwijk to Eindhoven with my mother's car (currently with my brother a few miles away from here)
- Drive from Eindhoven to Heythuysen with the garage's loaner (Nissan Sunny or something.)
- Drive from Heythuysen to Maastricht in my NEW OWN CAR (WHEE) to visit the Hospitality exposition there. Lots of new things to see and try. I love free samples :)
- Collect mail in Maastricht and drive all the way back to Noordwijk (250 km.)

I knew I should've bought Shell stock options :)

I'm actually quite happy, it's my friends that are in trouble.
It worries me, but I'm still quite alright.
